Book Recommendations

I'm excited to share some of the literary gems that have left a lasting impression on me.

P.E.T by Dr. Thomas Gordon: I highly recommend this book to parents or anyone working with children. Implementing the tips from Parent Effectiveness Training has improved my relationship with students and helped me understand my own inner child better.

Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch: At the time of writing this blog, I am halfway through the second part of this enlightening series. It's one of the first books I recommend to friends.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert: Many of my artist and musician friends are familiar with this book, perhaps more so than Gilbert's famous "Eat Pray Love." This book revolves around creativity and how each of us can connect to that natural creative source that every human being is born with. She beautifully personifies creativity and describes how to have a healthy relationship with it. I now have a tiny red rhino that signifies my fear when creating and is a loyal part of my work table family. I think this book was a game-changer for me.

Immortal Talk by Shunya: A captivating work of fiction shrouded in mystery, this book shares ancestral wisdom through the lens of a hidden tribe. I utilise concepts shared in this book when living my life and the best one being the “mermaid dream.” I always ask the person I recommend this book to read it with an open mind and take what makes sense for you and leave the rest.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv. Eker: This book helped me break free from money-related thought patterns that no longer served me. It's an easy-to-digest read that offers simple yet transformative ideas to shift your mindset towards wealth.

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie: Despite being written over 80 years ago, this timeless classic remains relevant today. It offers valuable insights into developing good social skills, essential for unlocking resources and forging lasting relationships.

Non-violent Communication, A Language of Life by Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD: When applied effectively, this book can significantly improve your relationships by enhancing communication.

Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life by Vimala Rodgers: This book has been a staple in my emotional toolbox for quite some time, and for good reason. The transformative practices recommended by Vimala have been instrumental in shaping my life as it is today. I even purchased her online course, which delves deeper into handwriting, and my writing style is now completely based on her philosophy.
